In today's investment world, it is rare to have direct access to your portfolio manager—the person who makes the day-to-day investment decisions for your investment portfolio. Too often you are handed off to a client service manager, who, regardless of their experience and training, are nevertheless at least one step (if not more) removed from the pulse of investment markets.

In founding CAIM, Catherine Avery is committed to once again empowering you to build a partnership with your portfolio manager. Her commitment to building this partnership is reflected in her accessibility, which is evident from the very start of your relationship—when we are establishing the ground rules for your investment portfolio—right through each investment season.

While it is vital that we meet with you at least once a year to review your portfolio, we take your lead to create a communications strategy that reflects your needs and your portfolio. For example, you may want us to work closely with your other professional advisors e.g. attorney, accountant, or tax consultant to ensure that your portfolio integrates fully with your other financial plans and strategies.
